Basket

For mere information...

If you join our basket department, you will practice twice a week. At the same time, you will become member of the local basket club, so that you will effectively practice 5-7 times a week.

Our foreign coaches are in charge of practice. You will get an excellent opportunity to develop your talents as both an individual player as well as a team player, because the coaches supervise each player individually, creating a basket department where everybody can excel; both as beginners and more experienced players.

All set for school, adventures and friendship For mere information...

We now offer HG, HGS, and HHX at the school. All 3 courses of education can be combined with Basket College.

HG

You start the HG course at the Handelsskole and continue the education in a company. A vocational education normally takes 4 years to complete, and most often consists of 2 years in school and 2 years’ placement in a company. HG enables you to deal with the challenges in e.g. a shop or in an office.

HGS

Is meant for the students who already graduated from an upper secondary school, such as Alment Gymnasium, HF or HTX. This one-semester course is followed by a period of placement in a shop or in an office.

Handelsgymnasiet - HHX

HHX is an upper secondary school, which stresses business-related subjects such as economics and marketing as well as general subjects such as languages, culture and mathematics. Throughout the three years, students will be able to mix the subjects that they find most suitable.

An international school that believes in crossing borders,
In Lemvig, you will meet foreign students who share your interest, and who might become part of your future network. We prioritize inter-cultural knowledge and understanding, and every year you will get an opportunity to visit a European city. Apart from that we organize 1- 4 weeks’ study visits and placements in Scandinavia, Spain, Germany, France, England, Scotland, Ireland and the USA.

computer literacy,
In this field, we aim at being the best. Therefore all HHX-students are offered a laptop, internet access is wireless everywhere at the school, and classrooms are up-to-date. We practise electronic communication and coordination. Any changes in your timetable? Look it up on the internet.

and a nice atmosphere.
School is much more than taking classes. That is why our students have their own place with a Friday café where they can hang out and play different games, such as pool, table tennis, etc. Every year students participate in tournaments with other schools, within basket, football, handball and golf. You will make many new friends at the Basket College, especially the ones with whom you share accommodation, but also with students in the school and other players in the Club.
